The VM‐Series firewall dynamically tags guest VMs with NSX security tags to enable the immediate isolation of compromised or infected guests. By leveraging threat, antivirus and malware detection logs on the VM‐Series virtualized firewall, NSX can place guests in a quarantined security group to prevent the lateral movement of the threat in the software-defined data center environment.
Automated Provisioning and Customization of VM-Series for OpenStack
PAN-OS 8.0 introduces new automation integration with OpenStack ConfigDrive, allowing organizations to dynamically provision and customize firewall deployments as network function virtualization (NFV) security components in fully virtualized data centers and service provider environments.
